Social Media Guidelines

Goal

Sophie’s Squad is excited to partner with you as an ambassador for our organization. We want to ensure it’s as easy as possible to fulfill our social media plan. This document will outline what the requirements are for fulfilling the social media plan, as well as some basic guidelines surrounding posting.

Fulfillment

Ambassadors will post on social media as an ambassador for Sophie’s Squad no less than once a month and reach a total of 12 posts in 12 months. Posts can be made across any of the social media, including Instagram, Snapchat, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.

For a post to fulfill our program, it must meet the unique content qualifications (outlined below), adhere to the Sophie’s Squad Code of Conduct and tag the Sophie’s Squad account or tie the post to Sophie’s Squad with related hashtags.

“Unique Content”

While posting for Sophie’s Squad, we would like our ambassadors to produce unique content to fulfill the social media aspect of ambassadorship. Unique content, refers to newly produced content. Reposting, reacting to, or signal boosting does not fulfill an agreed upon post, with some exceptions

These exceptions include, but are not limited to, specific content we want to signal boost as much as possible. Ambassadors will be informed of specific events, posts, or initiatives that we’re looking for extra signal boosting for. Ambassadors will be informed of these posts in our ambassador mailing list and interacting with that post will count towards your posting goals.

While reposting without comment is not considered unique content, we do consider commenting on our content as part of the required posting. Reposting with your own unique comment is a unique post. If Sophie’s Squad produces content (I.E. a graphic, video, etc.) specific to you as an ambassador and you post it, that will also fulfill the unique content qualification. If Sophie’s Squad posts on Instagram and adds ambassadors account as a collaborator, that will also fulfill a posting requirement.

Examples of unique content: Posting a picture wearing our merch, shouting us out on social media posts, promoting an upcoming event, reposting a Sophie’s Squad post with a unique comment, Being part of a collaborative post on Instagram, advocating for mental health initiatives or awareness and tying it back to Sophie’s Squad, etc.
