My main goal would be to just make it known that it is totally ok to not be ok and that if anyone feels alone or is struggling that I will always be there for them along with our other teammates. I want to make it so that my teammates know that talking about mental health doesn’t make you weak or any less of a person or hockey player, it actually makes you so much stronger for saying something. I never want anyone to feel the way I did my freshman year and I would love to be an outlet for the light of Sophie’s squad’s mission out in New York!
